NEXT BIG BASH at 33Arts and The Studio Santa Rosa!

ANNUAL FALL OPEN STUDIO/BASH AT 33ARTS & THE STUDIO SANTA ROSA

It’s that time of year! Our annual open studio event will take place on the first weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, November 2 & 3, from noon to 5pm.

If you’ve ever attended Art at The Source and Sonoma County Art Trails, and wondered about all the other artist studios at the site formerly known as “The Barracks” at 3840 Finley Avenue, now is your chance !

In addition to over 40 artists who will open their creative spaces to the public, there will be food (“A Guy and His Grill” food truck), music, and beer and wine for sale. Art, food and beverages, and music, available until 5pm. Both 33Arts and The Studio Santa Rosa (the two long pale green buildings across the parking lot from each other) will be open!

New this year is the “afterparty”. When the studios close, the big music begins, from 5pm – 7pm, with Grace Amulet and the Holy Ghost.

This event is free and open to the public. Come for the art, stay for the food/beverages, and bring your dancing shoes!

I find it just as important to write about my art as to make it. I am fascinated by stories. You can tell when people are speaking their truth--their eyes light up, their voices become strong, their entire body posture becomes powerful and upright. I love it when people get to this place in their work, their relationships, their art. As I work from this powerful place in MY heart, I share this process with others--so they have a strong place to stand, too. Because the world needs our beautiful art. All of it we can make, as fast as we can! Whether it's a bowl, a painting, a song, a garden, a story, if it makes our world a better place, we need to do everything in our power to get it out there.
