GO AWAY ALREADY!! Part Deux

So what happened after my plea for the last of the snow to just go away gracefully? (Or else…)

This:

It's just not fair.
It’s just not fair.

That’s it, New Hampshire. Now you’re just messin’ with me.

I am breaking up with you.

And Dear Readers, before you start telling me about the joys and gifts of winter, let me just share something I’ve noticed…

Everyone who feels that way? They haven’t been around winter as long as I have.

Author: Luann Udell

I find it just as important to write about my art as to make it. I am fascinated by stories. You can tell when people are speaking their truth--their eyes light up, their voices become strong, their entire body posture becomes powerful and upright. I love it when people get to this place in their work, their relationships, their art. As I work from this powerful place in MY heart, I share this process with others--so they have a strong place to stand, too. Because the world needs our beautiful art. All of it we can make, as fast as we can! Whether it's a bowl, a painting, a song, a garden, a story, if it makes our world a better place, we need to do everything in our power to get it out there.

  1. Or they’re a lot younger. I used to like winter. I lived up north for years and years where -40 was considered average and there was deep snow until even June. But now? I’m with you, and I wish I could go with you.

  2. Oh, Luann, I feel your pain. Spent a lot of my early years in Alaska. Which is why I now live in the Seattle area. I like birds, flowers and sun or rain by Easter. I whine hugely when we have our occasional 3 day snow events in the winter here. Considering snow-free areas for my last years.
