I’m so excited, I actually dreamed about this last night!
My book! On Kindle!
Here it is in the UK. I can list other countries if you need ’em, but my husband just looked it up by searching for my name.
(Of course, I also dreamed that a cooking show host came to my house to demonstrate cooking with chocolate. And in the dream, my cat mauled many of her 10 pound bars of chocolate. (Yes, you read that right.) And she couldn’t use them, even the ones that just had a few nibbles out of them. So she gave them all to ME!) (Yes, a truly wonderful dream, too.)
I haven’t figured out the print version process yet, but I will!
And now a very gentle request…
If you’ve enjoyed my blog and my columns, would you be willing to submit a review to Amazon? I would dearly appreciate it, and I won’t twist your arm or anything. I think you can do it here.
And of course, all my blog articles are still available to read free. But as my mentor pointed out, many of the earlier articles are on an old blog platform that’s not searchable. And the one here on WordPress? Well, I didn’t understand the difference between tags and categories. So my articles are still awkward to find….
Well, as I always tell you, now that I know better, I’ll do better.
And look for my second book, Good Booths Gone Bad, tomorrow!! (I hope….)
Hi Luann–I just went and bought a copy. I’m glad you didn’t post the entire thing but only a teaser. Seems like people would just read it in the Amazon window otherwise. Have always wondered why people would post their entire books–or just the index and table of contents with no visuals!
I think I saw a couple of typos in that opening chapter. Couldn’t find them my second time through. One was sat when you meant say. The other was a sentence I thought needed a that, I think, below the middle of the post.
I was a yearbook teacher and the need to proofread seems to have embedded itself in my soul. If you would like me to note them as I go, I could email you if I trip over any others when I read your book. If not, no worries!
I keep thinking I’d like to do more art and sell it, but never do, but my son seems to have a sales talent and I thought the reverse and how to get rid of non-sales people would be useful for him and his future. Now, to go read…
Thanks! Lisa PS: I already have your stamp book–never made the connection until I saw if with the Kindle books at Amazon. Cool serendipity!

Sharp eyes! Yes, feel free to send them on to me, though I’m not sure if I can still edit the book. I struggled with making it as perfect as I could, but finally decided to let it go after several rounds of edits. I’ve procrastinated SO LONG, trying to do it all exactly the right way. So the typos, in a way, are kind of a victory for me! :^) I’d love to hear if your son finds the book helpful. Although geared to a craft show situation, I’m hoping that identifying the time-wasters and feeling comfortable moving them on could be helpful to anyone.

It’s on my kindle in the UK! I had to make myself get up this morning having done ‘one more chapter’ twice! So far it’s hugely affirming and confidence boosting. Thank you x
