You asked for a virtual open studio tour–YOU GOT IT!

Every year, I send out invitations to my open studo.

Every year, I get a slew of emails from folks faraway, wishing they could come.

This year is different. This year, I made a video!
Yes! From the comfort (and safety) of your home, you, too, can visit Luann’s cabinet of wonders..

See! The Jar of Many Big Scissors!
See! The Bunster-Chewed Leopard Sofa!
See! The Blue Bead Drawer!
See! My new Antique Box Series!
and much, much more.

Author: Luann Udell

I find it just as important to write about my art as to make it. I am fascinated by stories. You can tell when people are speaking their truth--their eyes light up, their voices become strong, their entire body posture becomes powerful and upright. I love it when people get to this place in their work, their relationships, their art. As I work from this powerful place in MY heart, I share this process with others--so they have a strong place to stand, too. Because the world needs our beautiful art. All of it we can make, as fast as we can! Whether it's a bowl, a painting, a song, a garden, a story, if it makes our world a better place, we need to do everything in our power to get it out there.

  1. Wow, the virtual tour was FANTASTIC. I could spend DAYs in your studio and not get bored, ever. The spirit energy in and around your space must be wonderful. Thanks for the tour.

  2. For many years I’ve followed you wonderful work. Thanks for sharing your studio tour with us. Loved seeing the new boxes I’ve read about & all your lovely beads.

  3. I don’t think I have ever seen a more beautiful studio! It feels like “home.”
Thank you for the tour, I have never been able to make it over and the video is much appreciated! Good luck with your move! I hope you keep blogging!

  4. Thank you so much, I live on the other coast, so seeing your current studio in real life is not possible. I love the internet and truly appreciate your generosity, your writings, and your artistry

  5. That was a great start to my morning. My childhood “junk drawer” full of things to make “stuff” with, grew into shelves of organized plastic boxes in my studio today. Your studio is WAY more homey and beautiful. This is the best presentation of your art that I’ve seen to date.

  6. Wow! You keep saying you’re disorganized, but your studio looks way more put together than mine. You either cleaned up a whole lot or you’re not as bad as you think you are. :<)
All your pieces are wonderful as are the pieces-to-be lying in parts.

  7. This video is wonderful. It really shows that your booth at The League of NH Craftsman’s Fair is simply a small reflection of your studio. I love it. It makes me want to organize my studio as well. Maybe this winter. I can not imagine trying to pack it all up and move to California. More guts than I.
I hope you had a great open studio and perhaps the video will help a few more pieces to find a home. I would certainly love to have a piece. I kept looking at Sunapee but I loved too many pieces….hmmm. I will have to keep thinking. I may want a Christmas present for myself…your love of your work really shows in your studio. Congrats on the video.

  8. Luann, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Your studio is probably them most awesome adventure ever….at least in the studio world. thanks so much for sharing.
