LESSONS FROM THE MOVE: Assumptions Hold Us Back

I was so wrapped up with my indoor moving sale, I forgot to tell you about my latest Fine Art Views column!

You can read LESSONS FROM THE MOVE: Assumptions Hold Us Back.

You can see another view of the moving sale as an event on Facebook.

Looks like someone's ready for a trip to the north woods! But not us. We're off to California, and some other lucky person can own vintage (working!) snowshoes.

  1. Have you sold the glass pitchers? If not, I would like to purchase them! Good luck on your move <3 and good job on staging your sale so beautifully!

  2. Luann, your column resonates so very much. You line about how you’d rather be scared about moving than too scared to move was EXACTLY how we felt about the move to Nepal. There has most definitely been a sense of liberation after this. We approach everything with a more experimental and See how it goes lightness. And a confidence in our capacity to pick up sticks ( well, the ones we want to pick up) and start over. Good luck with your move. May it be accompanied by a lightness of being. Wendy M

  3. Thank you so much, Wendy, for your words of wisdom! As people share the stories of their own “big moves”, I realize how manageable it really is. One day at a time. One step at a time. Or in our case, one bag at a time! :^D
